The second appearance on Ready, Steady, Go! was actually a lip-sync performance of the songs "It Won't Be Long," "You Can't Do That," and "Can't Buy Me Love," previously recorded. In between the lip-synced songs, host Keith Fordyce talks with each of the Beatles. Fordyce gives Paul a Billboard magazine award for Top 3 spots on its singles chart. John chats about his book, In His Own Write and choosing a record. The lads then "judge" an art contest of Beatle artwork by fans. Ringo chats about his clothing, and finally George talks about their recent US tour.
