This compilation CD was released in 2000, a collection of The Beatles no. 1 hits in England and/or the USA.
Gatefold sleeve, special inner bags depicting single covers from various countries, four individual portraits (made by Richard Avedon in 1968) and a poster with more single covers. (below)

All songs have been digitally remastered in 2000 and treated with EQ and some de-noising filter. The Day Tripper drop outs have been digitally corrected by flying in a similar part from a different place in the song. Also, Eleanor Rigby and All You Need is Love are the original mixes, not the Yellow Submarine Songtrack remixes, but have also been cleaned up.

1 was a big hit all around the world and returned The Beatles to the top of the album charts again in many countries, including the UK and the USA. It went on to become one of their biggest selling albums ever.
